INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTIONIN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 13 OF L.D. NO. 196/2003
THE PURPOSE OF INFORMATION
This Section aims to describe the websitemanagement procedures concerning the processing of users’ personal data, that will be processed lawfully, fairly, relevantly and not excessively. This information is given pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code for those users who interact with the web services of Valli S.p.a. accessible online. This information only concerns the website www.valli-italy.com and no other websites the user may consult through this link. DATA PROCESSING CENTER
The processing operations connected to the web services of this website take place at the above-mentioned offices of Valli S.p.a. and are carried out only by technical personnel of the Office in charge of data handling or by staff responsible for occasional maintenance operations. Processing occurs by means of data storage in electronic archives of the company, whose access to data is limited to maintenance procedures. No data deriving from the web service shall be communicated or transmitted. Personal data provided by users asking for services is used only to supply or perform the requested services and isnot communicated to third parties unless disclosure is required by law or strictly necessary for request processing.
TYPES OF PROCESSED DATA
Browsingdata – During their normal operation, computer systems and software procedures in charge of the website operation collect some personal data (so-called log files) whosedisclosure is implicit while using internet communication protocols. Thisdata is not collected in order to be associated to identified users, but due to its own nature it may allow users to be identified by means of processing and integration with any other data held by third parties. No personal data concerning users is acquired by the website through cookies. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are any systems used for tracking and identifying users. The use of so-called cookies is strictly limited to session-id transmission (random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow forsafe and efficient exploration of the website, and for statistical purposes in order to survey the number of visitors per month. Apart from what has been specified on browsingdata, the user is free to provide personal data contained in the request forms to ValliS.p.a. or referred to during contacts with the Office when requesting informationmaterial or for other communications. Failing to submit personal data may make it impossible to process the request. For the sake of completeness it must be remembered that in some cases (not included in the ordinary management of this website) the Authority may request information pursuant to Article 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 in order to monitor personal data processing. In such cases our reply is obligatory under penalty of fine.
DATA PROCESSING PROCEDURES
Personal data is processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the relevant purpose. Specific security measures are applied in order to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
The subjects to whom personal data refers have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether such information exists and to know its content and source, check its accuracy or request its integration, updating or amendment(Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). Pursuant to the same article the user has the right to obtain the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data that has been processed in breach of the law, and also to object in any case, andfor legitimate reasons,to its processing.
