The Volo Rocca alternative system has been developed to meet the needs of Barn and Free-Range poultry farms requiring high standards of animal welfare, productivity, and installation flexibility. A natural evolution of the Volo range, it represents a reliable and modern solution designed to ensure consistent results for farmers and simple, safe management for operators, offering an optimal balance between usable area, feeding space, drinking systems, and perches. No more numerous separate aviaries: Volo Rocca is a single, collaborating structure, integrating all levels and functions in one system, optimizing space, management, and the welfare of the laying hens. Particularly suitable for houses with two longitudinal chambers, thanks to the possibility of installation directly against the walls and the optimisation of side spaces, Volo Rocca meets the criteria of the RSPCA Assured (ex Freedom Food) standards for Barn and Free-Range systems and complies with Directives 1999/74/EC and 98/58/EC as well as the UK Welfare of Farmed Animals Regulations. The internal walkable corridor ensures direct, continuous, and safe control of every level of the aviary, improving inspection, cleaning, and daily management operations.
