History

Who was Dr. Roberto Valli?

Roberto Valli was born in Galeata, in the hills of Romagna in the province of Forlì, along the route to Florence, on January 27, 1924. The Tuscan capital is nearby, and in the 1930s, one could still breathe that Renaissance air filled with experimentation and vibrant creativity that shaped many artists.

The numerous artisan workshops provide added value to the technical-mechanical training that the young Roberto Valli acquires. A technical high school education and a degree in economics and commerce complete the multifaceted training of the now-Dr. Roberto Valli. In the post-war atmosphere, the desire to build, invent, and create becomes almost a feverish necessity, and Dr. Roberto Valli’s talent quickly begins to show. The first battery systems for raising chickens, and later laying hens, are born: it’s a success!
